This is a free home inventory program with a simple user interface to scan and browse through your inventory. The main screen has a browse window with a listing of all your inventory items. You can quickly select, search, sort, or use category tabs to look through your list. When an item is selected you can enter or edit a number of fields. Also a picture of the item can be displayed to help with your search. In addition to the fixed fields there are larger text areas where you can enter in a large description or history of the item. The fixed field area is where you track information like value, location, model number, etc. These fields can be customized to track data you need tracked. This means you can change the field model number to weight if weight is something you need to track. The program also has reports you can print which can be sorted on all the fields. You can generate custom reports which only print the fields you want and sorted how you want. Other features include copy, labels, export of files to .csv, and help. Home Inventory Manager is freeware with no time or feature limits.
